For the very first full episode of Just Call Me Autumn and Ashley kicked things off with quick introductions, botox chats, pop culture rumors, and musical quizzes – just to name a few things!
Your host Autumn touched on her past where she once thought she’d be a dietician, but is oh-so happy that the twists and turns of life led her to being an award winning wedding photographer. She’s blissfully married to the love of her life Spencer, and they’re currently building a new home in Northern California -to further spoil their fur babe Bleu.
Ashley spoke to her roots in journalism and how her love of storytelling blossomed into a career in wedding and branding photography. She’s looking forward to her upcoming thirteenth wedding anniversary to her husband James. And she talked about her wild and crazy blessings, Elena and Ezra – and how much she’s looking forward to moving into the home their currently building in Columbus, Ohio.
Both ladies noted a need for more botox, and Ashley talked about this epic before and after photo shared by Boss Gal Beauty Bar – showcasing her under eye filler:
Autumn spilled some rumored tea about Taylor Swift possibly dropping a new album soon with some huge collaborations… possibly? We know none of this as fact but talked about how stoked we would be as Swifties for new music from the Queen.
That topic led to this Buzzfeed musical quiz titled “If you don’t recognize 30/40 of these song lyrics, your parents didn’t raise you right.” Let us know how you did!
Autumn randomly needed to know whether or not we go commando when we go to the gym. Ashley was flabbergasted and refuses to let go of her “granny panty” obsession when working out. Autumn swears no undies is the way to go. We want to know which you think is best (LOL!) Inquiring minds need to know.
Things ended on a more serious note with both ladies discussing what they’re most looking forward to about this Just Call Me community. Most notably, Autumn is excited to hear real stories from all of you, and Ashley is looking forward to helping everyone feel less alone in their every day life.
Next Thursday we’ll be jumping into the topic of “Figuring it Out,” where we got some great feedback from some of you about whether or not we’ll ever have it figured out. We’re sharing listener input and talking about areas of life we all seem to feel we have THE LEAST figured out of all.
Until then, if you’d like to share a story with us see the contact page here on the website, or reach out via Instagram.
And if you enjoyed our show your kind words would mean so much in the form of a review!
