Are we supposed to have it all figured out?
Autumn and Ashley dove into that question on this latest episode and also asked all of you for your input on their social channels, earlier this month.
But first, Autumn let us all know that a random TikToker blocked her on social media for being better at guessing an influencer baby name than she was … yes, seriously, that really happened. “Solstice Reign” was the name apparently. And now Autumn is taking requests at baby name guessing, since this is clearly a gift she has that none of us knew about.
Ashley filled us all in on feeling overwhelmed lately with some new business ventures, and that’s actually what sparked the conversation about if there’s an age or time that we should all have this whole “life thing” figured out.“
Here are some of the questions all of you were asked on this topic, and some of your responses:
Which area of your life do you feel you have the LEAST figured out?
At what age do you feel like you should have life figured out?
The ladies talked about the possibility of never having life completely figured out because of the fact that we’re always changing and evolving as individuals.
Autumn and Ashley talked about how parenthood and finances are particularly challenging to have figured out because kids are different every day, as they grow, and life seems to get more and more expensive.
Autumn said the person in her life that she always felt had it all figured out was her father. He’s actually her step father, but she said he’s the person who has always been there for her. She said she’s looked up to him because of the fact that he’s always been so steadfast in his love for her, and his role in her life.
This topic about Autumn’s father led the ladies to realize that while all of parenting can be overwhelming, clearly just being there for your child, and LOVING your child through and through, is what matters… because that’s what she’s remembered all these years.
What is important is that you know exactly who you want to be, and that you have goals to reach that …

Ashley said the person she’s always thought had it all figured out has always been Oprah. But, upon deeper research into her life, the ladies realized that even the Queen herself has faced many challenges in her life. She’s tackled personal challenges as well as business obstacles, and in the realization of all the struggles the powerhouse that is Oprah has had in her life, the ladies talked about how we seem to never notice the hard parts of someone else’s life.
This conversation led to the problems we’re all facing with social media, and how seeing someone else’s highlight reel, or “figured out-ness,” effects us.
The ladies discussed the possibility that social media feels like a highlight reel because we feel like everyone else has it more figured out than we do.
Is it that people are only sharing a highlight reel, or is that we’re not looking at through the judgmental lens that we look at our own?

To combat feelings of being “less than” online Autumn and Ashley have vowed to share more of their reality, and behind the scenes, on socials. And to stop following accounts that chase perfection without genuine realness and authenticity.
And the entire conversation ended with a quote to keep us all thinking:
True belonging doesn’t require us to change who we are, it requires us to be who we are.
